This Thursday we are proud to present a new exhibition with Tommy Dwane.
Real Fake is an exhibition with handpainted T-shirts, often improvised right on the fabrics, taking place in a black & white world of decaying graffiti and decrepit powersymbols.
Dwane started his artistic career as a graffiti artist in the early 1980s.
Dwane was a part of the first wave of European street artists inspired by New York subway graffiti. Together with Nug, Dwane is a pioneer on the Scandinavian graffiti scene. Dwane was early on involved in exhibitioning graffiti in galleries and exhibitions and have been featured in graffiti books, magazines and documentaries such as Staffan Jacobssons “Spraykonst” and “Burners” by Malcolm Jacobson. Today Dwane is a professional artist.
Welcome to HL Gallery, S:t Eriksgatan 64, this thursday 17/4 between 17-21.
